THE PLAYERS Stadium: Greens Aerification

Last week on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course, the agronomy team was able to perform a number of cultural practices during our one day closure. During the closure, the greens were vertical mowed, aerified, top dressed, and fertilized. These practices will help reduce thatch, relieve soil compaction, reduce grain, and in turn, create a better playing surface for THE PLAYERS. After these practices, and a few days of sunshine, the greens have almost completely healed.
