PLAYERS Stadium Course Integrated Pest Management

With temperatures in northeast Florida rising, mole cricket activity is increasing. These mole crickets feed on the root systems of many warm season grasses which can eventually create dead patches of turf. The agronomy staff at TPC Sawgrass is taking curative steps to ensure turfgrass quality by applying granule insecticides to our rough. The granule insecticide Topchoice (Fipronil) is applied by an Anderson's rotary spreader and then watered in.
