Protecting The Turf

Over the past two weeks, temperatures have dropped as low as 25°F at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course. Due to these low temperatures, tarps were put out over all of the greens to prevent any frost damage to the leaf tissue that might affect the quality of the playing surface. Cold weather damage could potentially be very costly to repair so the tarps help by holding heat in the soil profile.
 Number 17 has been covered.
