FNGLA MEETING...

The Landscape Operations team took part in hosting its first ever Northeast Chapter  FNGLA meeting this past week. FNGLA is the Florida State Nurserymen Association and has been an instrumental part of the industry for over 60 years. The group is made up of florists, nursery owners, landscape owners, designers, architects, and many other professions in our field. They provide many opportunities around the community such as helping out with volunteer projects and making generous donations to the youth for furthering their education. FNGLA members also have a meeting that is held each month that they tour a location that is industry related to learn more about the different plant usage, property, and skills that other companies provide. We were privileged to have them on our property for this month’s meeting. The tour we provided started with a walk up to the Clubhouse to provide time to look at how we manage our landscape and ended with a part of history. The storyteller volunteers were able to give a tour inside the clubhouse and enlighten the guests about TPC Sawgrass and how it came to be. We appreciate their participation in helping make this a successful event.
