Dye's Valley HUB - Day 6

The Hub project is still moving at full force. The St. Augustine mound has been completely demolished for the new putting green, and the chipping green bowl is ready for grading. The major focus today was to install a temporary mainline of H.D.P.E. (high-density polyethylene) above ground to maintain pressure in the rest of the system. The above ground line will be used until the new H.D.P.E irrigation pipe is installed throughout the Hub.

The temporary main line is H.D.P.E. connected to the old mainline which is PVC.  This picture shows the adapter needed to connect the two different types of pipe.

This picture shows the routing above ground for the temporary main.
