The new chipping green at Dye's Valley Hub is really beginning to take shape. The greens bowl has been shaped, while work continues to be done grading the surrounds. The surrounds of this green are designed to enhance the short game practice experience of our resort guests and professional tour players.
After the skid steer has cut and moved dirt the bunker rake is used to delicately finish the grade of the green.
The green will offer golfers a variety of different areas to practice chip shots and will feature some grass bunkers on the lake bank side of the green.
The St. Augustine mound where the new putting green will be has been completely removed. Approximately 1000 cubic yards of soil was removed from the area.
