Dye's Valley is a popular course that hosts guests from sun up to sun down. During the winter months we have started to see wear patterns affecting the front nine holes. The wear to the front nine greens and fairways can be attributed to the amount of twilight rounds that we host. Twilight golfers generally only make it through the front nine before nightfall forces them to stop.
With the help of the Golf Professional Staff we have developed a successful solution by rotating the starting nine from week to week. This week golf will be starting on the back nine; therefore all twilight rounds will be played on the back nine. This solution keeps golfers on the course and allows the front nine a chance to recover.
