7 Spectator Mound Renovation

A few renovation projects are underway on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass including 7 spectator mound which started last week. The purpose of this project is to better enhance the spectator experience by increasing viewing areas throughout the property. The old spectator mound was seperated from the green by a valley which will now be filled in so fans can watch golf play from a better vantage point.

The new spectator mound is also within very close proximity to the "Wine and Dine" fan enhancement area and new permanent restroom structure.  Championship management believes that these enhancements will entice more fans to the front nine during tournament rounds.

Stay tuned, we will have more construction updates as the spectator mound continues and bathrooms begin vertical construction.
