Driving Range Tee Spraying Program

The practice facility at TPC Sawgrass contains five separate driving range tees which consists of the Resort, Tour Academy, Professional, and two Short Game driving range tees.  Normally we try to spray each of these tees on the same day that we spray the tee boxes on the Stadium Golf Course.  This poses a problem due to time restraints and the need for professional golfers to utilize the driving range.  Therefore a new spray program is being implemented every Friday morning to allow us to spray all the driving range tees ahead of play separately from the course tees.  This new spray program also allows us to apply higher rates of fertilizer and lower rates of trinexapac-ethyl to help divots recover and grow in faster.
