Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston

The Deutsche Bank Championship is being held this Labor Day weekend at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass. This tournament will feature the top 100 PGA TOUR golfers as they compete in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. TPC Sawgrass Agronomy team members Mike Cooper and Kyle Worthy are assisting the staff at TPC Boston during both advance and tournament weeks.

Hole 7 : Tuesday morning of tournament week brought cloudy weather followed by thunderstorms

A landscaping crew is contracted every year to plug out fairway divots in areas where golf pros tend to hit from based on last years SHOTLink stats

Over 8800 plugs were used to fill in the fairway divots

Hole 1 : Tuesday PM duties include sanding fairway divots, walkmowing the intermedaite cut and fixing bunkers after over an inch of rain

Hole 15 : Many bunkers have been renovated over the past six years to produce more of a natural look
